When people first meet me, they often ask "what rock band is he in?" or "he should be an actor!" I love that! In fact, it actually was a huge part of my life at one time. But when they find out that I'm a Psychic Medium and Spiritual Teacher, surprisingly enough,it all starts to make sense. I suppose whatever energy they are picking up on about me probably makes them feel I should be in front of people speaking- and I have always felt that too. I've always wanted to help people and I believe in them. I use my gifts to help humanity realize their potential, to awaken the love they are.
As a child, I went to bed one night and I felt a presence. This presence was pure love embodied and simply said my name in my ear. It was a voice I have never forgotten. It was impossible to tell whether the voice was male or female, but it felt like a voice of it pure peace and beauty. I do feel now it was the voice of an Angel.
As I grew into an adolescent my interest in the “supernatural” realm also grew. I read everything I could get my hands on having to do with psychic phenomenon, UFO’s, “ghost” sightings and meditation. My Indian ancestry had infused me with an understanding of past lives and reincarnation. My heart knew it was true.
As I sat in my car with a child in meltdown crying and one in an angry huff, I thought; this is my journey to The Jade Buddha of Universal Peace? The Jade Buddha is a Buddha carved from a large boulder of Jade called The Polar Pride that is traveling around the world (to learn more about this statue click here). My family and I have piled in our car, ridden a ferry off our little island, connected up with two other car loads of family and friends, had lunch, and then we went on to see the Buddha.
I have always had two strong passions. One is spirituality. I don’t just mean my own spiritual path. From a very young age I loved going to other people’s churches and temples and rituals. I have always been fascinating with the way we, as humans, worship and connect to the Divine. The other is activism. I have always tried to speak out for the “less fortunate”, do right by Mother Nature, vote, recycle, and things like that. In the sixth grade I started a petition to make the school recycle the lunch supplies. One of my favorite books has always been The Lorax. You get the idea. Let’s fast forward to now and actually the last few months. I have been very active in groups and events lately talking about and dealing with The Gulf disaster and things like that. In this time I have had something that always bothered me become a glaring fact that I could not deny. These two parts of me can be in conflict. I have watched it played out in forums.
