1 S.O.U.L. doesn't believe in censorship, however, we DO believe that there are appropriate times & places for certain things. With that said our goal is to create an environment and atmosphere where ALL are welcome in spite of our differences in faiths, practices, beliefs, expressions and communications.
1 S.O.U.L. will NEVER discriminate against anyone for their race, ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, type of work, language, age, location or beliefs. However, we do desire to create a social network that focuses on unity, freedom, love & tolerance. That means to us that any article, forum posting, blog, email or communications must NEVER be threatening, attacking, abusive, vulgar or condemning. Regardless, of how strong or adamant you may be in your personal beliefs you must realize that your belief is ONLY personal and everyone may not agree with you.
Therefore, the standards you should strive to adhere to should be based upon and founded in Love! Now the next question is "What is Love"? While we understand that everyone's definition may be different on this word ours is described as such:
Love is universal, unconditional and all-embracing. Love doesn't seek reward nor return. Love is freedom and never forces another to accept it. Love is freely communicating yourself and allowing others to do so as well, even when we may disagree. Love is forgiving. Love is patience and tolerance. Love is open-minded, sincere and doesn't ask for anything that it is not giving. Love is non-judgmental. Love is harmony and always accepting. Love is courageous. True Love is irresistable, magnetic and you recognize it when you FEEL it. Love binds & unites ALL while unloving expressions tend to separate one from another.
Now let us also define what we believe Love is not:
Love is NOT judgmental or condemning. Love is NOT saving someone who may not want to be saved. Love is NOT forcing someone to believe what you may believe. Love is NOT hateful or justifiable in producing hostility in ANY name of God or otherwise. Love does NOT say my way is the only way. Love is NEVER expressed though unloving means with the mindset of the "ends justifies the means." Love does NOT create enemies even when there is disagreement. Love NEVER wishes harm or ill will towards another. Love is NEVER violent, vengeful or spiteful. Love is NEVER cowardly or conniving. Love is NEVER rewarded in this life or the next by outcomes that harm another or imposes on their freedom of choice and/or will.
Now as long as you can operate and express yourself within the paramaters as suggested then you may feel free to submit any article on any topic you may like with these simple guidelines:
1. Ensure that your article is proofread and free from any errors or typos as best as possible. We attempt to correct any errors we may find but we are NOT editors and are not compensated to re-write articles poorly drafted and submitted.
2. There are no particular length requirements or restrictions, however, try to ensure that it is an enjoyable read, concise and makes its point as clearly as possible.
3. We also ask that you include a small graphic that coincides with the subject of your article.
4. Lastly, we ask you to include a short bio of yourself that assists the readers in learning a little more about you, your basis, expertise or life influences and/or where to go to get further information about your article.
