Orthodoxy deals with "having the right opinion" or being "right or true" which many people believe to be the problem with organized religions in the sense that they all seem to promote that they are the right path to God.
Mysticism scares some people away because it seems to deal with "magic" or "supernatural" experiences that are supposed to lead man towards inner realization of the Creator.
But regardless of which path you are on aren't they both based upon beliefs until a person has found verifiable "proof" either in meditation or in death (heaven)? Is there a happy middle ground? Is it either or? What are your thoughts on getting to know and develop our personal relationships with the Source?
